South Sea Sailing

Book any Yasawa Adventures Fiji product and get the South Sea Sailing full-day experience for only FJD$199 per person (normally FJD$259). This award-winning day trip experience departs from and returns to Port Denarau and sails out through the Mamanuca Islands daily, stopping at a sand cay to explore and snorkel. Make sure to leave enough time on the mainland pre or post your island trip to fit in this 5 star rated day trip. The Full Day Pass includes:
  • Return coach transfers from most Nadi, Denarau, Vuda, and Wailoaloa resorts/hotels
  • Full day sailing experience around the Mamanuca Islands
  • Guided snorkelling excursion (gear provided)
  • An array of relaxed, shaded seating options on board, including booths, day beds, and bean bags
  • Gourmet morning tea and buffet lunch designed by an executive chef
  • A mimosa cocktail upon boarding
  • Complimentary selection of soft drinks and bottled water all day long, and complimentary selected white wine and local beer served from lunchtime for 2 hours
  • A licensed bar is available onboard to purchase additional beverages

Fuel Surcharge

Fuel Surcharge applicable for travel

FUEL SURCHARGE IN EFFECT – UPDATED MONDAY 1ST OF JANUARY 2024

South Sea Cruises currently has a fuel surcharge to take effect for customers travelling with us on a resort transfer as well as applicable day trips. 

South Sea Cruises also notes that since setting the 2023/24 transfer rates, the Fiji Government has removed the 10c per litre duty concession which South Sea Cruises had factored into our rates at the time of issue and has now had to absorb. 

The applicable fuel surcharges in effect for travel as of Friday, 1st December 2023 are as follows:

  • Awesome Adventures Fiji Package or Pass customers – $15 per person. 
  • Resort Transfer only customers travelling to/from all Yasawa Island Resorts (including Vomo) – $15 per adult/$7.50 per child (2-15 years only) for each one-way sector. 

All fuel surcharges stated are in FJD and include applicable taxes.

Please note the updated advisory information applicable for Thursday and Friday as follows:

Thursday 9th of April 2026:

•Day Trips across both the Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands will remain suspended today.
•Resort Transfers will operate on a reduced schedule which are as follows:

The services which will operate on a reduced schedule today are Routes 1 / 3 / 5 within the Mamanuca Islands and Route 7 in the Yasawa Islands.

The services which remain suspended today include Routes 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 9 / 10 / 16 / 17 as well as Six Senses boat transfers.

For customer reference, numbered routes can be found here.

Customers impacted by the suspension of Resort Transfers and/or Day Trips during the above-mentioned period can defer their travel to another day or if they are unable to defer travel they can cancel without penalty. Please be patient as the Reservations team continue to be operating a limited roster today.

Friday 10th of April 2026:
All SSCG products and services will resume to normal operations. All Day Trips & Resort Transfers will operate as scheduled.

SSCG asks all stakeholders to be patient in terms of vessel services over the coming days. There has been a lot of debris washed into the ocean, and which poses a risk to our vessels. Vessels may operate at reduced speeds in certain areas as a result and therefore there may be delays.

This will be the final advisory pertaining to TC Vaianu.
